Ashonté S. Lyles
Along with her creative writing ventures, she gained extensive experience in technical and professional writing during her 22 years of combined federal service.
Her other endeavors include a term from 2016 to 2018 as chair of the Technology and Communications Subcommittee for the Henry County Democrats of Georgia. Beginning in 2016, she was also co-owner and social media manager of Jimmy Sno Concessions, a food truck in the Florida Keys that ceased operations in 2022.



Ashonté is retired from federal service and a veteran of the US Air Force. She is of Louisiana Afro-Creole descent from New Orleans. Ashonté and Marlon are the proud parents of three, grandparents of two, and reside in Orlando, Florida.
